Nick Sawka

Principal

Nick Sawka

Nick Sawka brings over 23 years of experience managing and supervising the design and construction of major commercial and private projects. His expertise includes all aspects of commercial land, industrial planning and design, including surveying, site development, erosion control, utility layout, water & sewer modeling, hydrology studies, and more.

His experience in zoning, variances, predevelopment entitlements, land planning, site design, construction, and compliance, coupled with his knowledge working with state and local agencies, ensures a complete and successful project for both the developer and community.

Nick is a graduate of Wentworth Institute of Technology with a degree in Civil Engineering. He is a LEED Accredited Professional (AP) and Level ll Certified Design Professional by the Georgia Soil and Water Conservation Commission.

Jeffrey Masisak

Principal

Jeffrey Masisak

Jeffrey Masisak joined the MASS Design team in 2016 and brings more than 20 years of progressive experience in civil engineering, land development, infrastructure design and project management. His project experience spans commercial, industrial, residential, transportation, infrastructure, and more.

Jeff graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelors in Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) and he is a registered professional engineer (PE) in over 10 ten states throughout the US, Certified Professional in Erosion & Sediment Control (CPESC) and Georgia Soil and Water Conservation Commission (GSWCC) Level II Design Professional.

Chris Lankford

Principal

Chris Lankford

Chris Lankford is a Senior CAD design professional with over 30 years of extensive field experience. His expertise includes subdivision and commercial land development, subsurface utility design, groundwater treatment and remediation, geotechnical services, landfill design, and civil, survey, roadway, and traffic engineering. Being well versed in problem solving abilities allows for him to provide developing solutions to complex design dilemmas.

Chris graduated from Chattahoochee Tech with a degree in Engineering Design. He is a certified Erosion Control Specialist (CPECS) by the Georgia Soil and Water Conservation Commission.

Brian A. Coffman

Director of Architecture

Brian A. Coffman

As the Director of Architecture, Brian Coffman brings more than 25 years of experience in architecture & design, space planning and project management to the MASS Design team. His portfolio spans commercial, tenant up-fit, light industrial, military and public transportation projects. His attention to detail and years of experience on a wide range of project types allow him to deliver projects that are functional and successful.

Brian graduated from Kent State University with Bachelor of Architecture degree. He is a Registered Architect, a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP), a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and National Council of Architectural Registration Board (NCARB) certified.

As our office manager, Caroline Lemon brings over 10 years of administrative and managerial experience to MASS Design. Caroline plays an integral role in our customer service, client relationships, and daily operations that allow for our team to operate efficiently. She brings significant expertise to our team through several years of experience within the construction and community development fields.
